With nearly three decades of experience, Todd has been involved in multiple new course designs and hundreds of renovation projects ranging in size from feature upgrades to 27-hole comprehensive overhauls. Todd got his start in the business as a Lead Architect and eventual Senior Partner for Lohmann Golf Designs and Lohmann Quitno Golf Course Architects. In 2022, Todd started his own firm, Quitno Golf Designs, Inc.
Recognized for its balance of artistry and practicality, Todd’s nationally acclaimed new course and renovation work continues to improve the quality and viability of existing golf courses while embracing community and environmental connections and the growth of the game. For these outstanding efforts, he has been recognized by numerous local and national organizations, including Golf Inc. magazine’s Renovation of the Year (2004, 2005, 2010, 2012) and the ASGCA’s Design Excellence Award (2014, 2020).
In 2010, Todd was elected into the prestigious American Society of Golf Course Architects where he has served on the Board of Governors, Golf Committee and Education Committee (presently).
Todd has been invited on numerous occasions to share his expertise as a seminar speaker at local and national conferences on a variety of golf design subjects, including:
