This highly reputed Milwaukee club with ties to the acclaimed William Langford has been a client since 2000, and completed a comprehensive facelift in 2008 under the guidance of lead architect, Quitno. Greens were regrassed, with some rebuilt, and bunkers were relocated in the ‘spirit of Langford’ on long, strategic diagonals and at distances that reflected the ball and club technologies.
Fifteen years on, QGD is working with the Club again to update the bunkering based off a 2021 master plan. The program calls for Introducing modern materials to reduce bunker maintenance inputs, and a more simplistic style that removes some of the high-maintenance turf fingers while still providing a dramatic presentation.
