Reworks

Abbey Springs

A golf course called “tired” by one publication, the 50-year old Abbey Springs needed a significant upgrade to fix greens that were too steeply sloped with steep surrounds and deep bunkers that were tough for the novice golfer to navigate. Quitno Golf rebuilt 14 of the 18 greens and all of the bunkers, creating more variety in the surfaces and new pinning space guarded by fun bumps, ridges and rolls. The bunkering nowhas a more classic, elegant look and is accompanied with bentgrass roll-off and roll-on areas that provide more recovery options and interest.

“Todd, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your hard work on our renovation project at Abbey Springs! Your dedication to providing a superior product…along with adhering to our budget constraints were evident through our project. I appreciate your knowledge, along with your patience in working with our entire crew at the course. In my forty plus years as the PGA Professional at Abbey Springs, you have helped to develop many of my dreams of what our course could be into a reality!”
