Pioneer Pointe
Making use of a property that was too narrow for a regulation sized golf course, Quitno Golf devised a new golf experience that is completely unique to the Madison, WI, market. The 13-holes on this par-3 course range in length from around 100 yards to a muscular 280 yards, requiring use of every club in the bag.
But the truly unique feature is the inspiration taken by famous golf holes and “templates” from around the world, including such icons as the Road, Redan, Biarritz, Lion’s Mouth, Double Plateau (shown), Punchbowl, Short, Eden and even a nod to the 7th at Pebble Beach.
